Jim had a heart transplant in 2019 — it saved his life and changed his perspective on it. Throughout 2021, he spent his mornings on his recumbent bike strengthening his heart, then stopped by Possibilities in Punta Gorda to help assemble the three 15kWh LiFePO4 batteries we designed and built ourselves. Jim helped with countless other tasks too, and made his own backyard available whenever we needed space for the trailer and dinghy. His wife works for a home care agency serving the elderly.
