Sky Chariot aircraft concept

Sky Chariot Inclusive Airplane

Sky Chariot is Inclusive's own aircraft development project: an electric plane designed so a pilot needs only two limbs to fly it. Two four-direction joysticks handle everything — ailerons, elevator, rudder, brakes, and power — with automatic balancing if a motor fails. The design goal is simplicity, safety, and low maintenance: an extruded aluminum or carbon spar, four to six small electric motors for redundancy, and LTO batteries rated for 20,000 charge cycles (20-30 years) that can recharge in 30 minutes and won't ignite or explode. A friend of the project, Belgian aviation enthusiast Koen Van de Kerckhove, wrote a short poem about what it means to a paralyzed person to fly again, and created 3D renderings for the concept.
