Takacat's Wheelchair Accessible Tender brings adaptive design to a part of boating that's often overlooked: the tender. A Takacat dealer had been in discussions to donate one to Inclusive, modified with secure tie-down rails so a wheelchair could roll straight in from the bow — turning it into a genuinely accessible dinghy. That donation never fully came together, but the underlying design and the barrier it solves — getting from shore to a larger boat — remain worth pursuing.
